Please feel free to follow these steps for the first time setup for your Windows device. Someone from the IT team should send you the credentials for the login.
Windows login is:
- Username: USERNAME
- Password: PASSWORD

VPN login is:
- Username: USERNAME
- Password: Use your computer password for this field.
Instructions for signing into a computer for the first time (Remote):
- Once your computer is powered on, ensure it is connected to your home network:
- A direct connection through Ethernet cable is preferred if the wifi connection is unstable.
- A hardwired eithernet connection can be run from the docking station to your wall/router .
- If you are unable to connect directly Wi-Fi will work. You’ll need to connect to your home’s Wi-Fi network:
- On the bottom-right of the Windows sign in screen, look for an icon that looks like a globe.
- Select the globe icon and a new menu will open.
- Look for your Wi-Fi network in the new menu and connect to it.
- A direct connection through Ethernet cable is preferred if the wifi connection is unstable.
- From the Windows sign in screen, select the icon the looks like 2 monitor screens, 1 in front of the other.
- This will change the Windows sign in screen so that is says “IWH VPN”.
- On the screen labeled with “IWH VPN”, please sign in with your provided username and password. If you’re unable to sign in, go to step 4.
- Please call FHP IT afterwards at 512-642-8450 for assistance with updating credentials and review.
